    Known Issues

Changing the system's Default Output device (e.g. away from Built-in Audio, or whatever was selected when the application was launched) will cause the application to not playback or record properly.

Currently incompatible with some third party audio devices such as the Creative X-Mod. (This has now been fixed)

    Q. Can other software disrupt PandoraJam from functioning?

    A. Yes. System wide hacks which affect your computer's audio can cause problems and be incompatible with PandoraJam. System wide hacks affect all applications, without taking into account what each individual application is doing - they're the computer equivalent of noisy neighbors!

If PandoraJam is not operating correctly, configure the system audio hacks to not affect PandoraJam, or try uninstalling the system audio hack (it may have been installed on your system by an application without your knowledge, or perhaps still be on your system due to a failed uninstallation).

    Look for:
    • Hear by JoeSoft (e.g. OS X 10.6 user reports v1.1 breaks PandoraJam, but v1.05 (497) is ok)
      • To uninstall Hear: If the user has Hear installed, they can select its built-in uninstall option. If they've already deleted it manually it may leave behind files so they'll need to download another copy, re-install it, and run the uninstaller. The Hear demo download for Mac is at http://s3.amazonaws.com/prosoft-engineering/hear/Hear_1.1.0_US.dmg
    • Airfoil and Audio Hijack by Audio Hijack (e.g. uninstall the 'Install On' extras, or make sure you are using the latest version and configure them to not affect PandoraJam)
